TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLYING TO RENTAL OF SKIERS’ VIEW:
By making this reservation you agree to the terms and conditions set forth
in this contract.
Earliest check in time is 3 p.m. Check out time is 10 a.m.
You agree to pay a security deposit valued at 33% of your rental, minimal
of $300, to insure against any damage to Skiers’ View (also, "the
home"). You further agree that in the event any damage is incurred to
Skiers’ View, anything inside the home, or on the home’s property, you
will be liable for repair, replacement and any incidental costs incurred in
making such repairs or replacement. You agree that any such reasonable costs
may be charged to your credit card.
Note that the Security Deposit is to protect the home from malicious or
negligence damages and/or if the home is left excessively dirty or if the
hot tub requires special cleaning. An authorization will be placed on your
credit card for such occurrences. The authorization is held for 15 days.
Upon arrival, it is tenant’s responsibility to report any damage found.
Failure to report any damages found during your stay may result in partial
or complete loss of security deposit. Tenant also agrees to reimburse owner
for any damage expenses incurred in excess of the security deposit,
including collection costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. Person renting
home is responsible for informing all members of his/her party concerning
rules and procedures. Evidence of failure to follow terms and conditions
herein will result in minimum $100 deduction from security deposit. Security deposits will be returned within approximately one month.
In the event you rent the home and find you are unable to use it when
reserved, you may transfer your date to another one during the same calendar
year, same season, as long as this transfer is arranged prior to 30 days in
advance of your stay. In the event you cancel your stay within a 30 day
period and the home is not rented to someone else for those dates, the full
payment will be forfeited. No cancellations refunded if made within six months of the dates you are reserving Skier's View.
No one under the age of 24 may arrange for rental of the home. Occupancy
is limited to 8 people over the age of two years old, unless otherwise
arranged. Any party exceeding this number will be evicted immediately
without refund and loss of security deposit.
You will not bring any pets or other animals in the home unless given the explicit permission of the owner. You agree to indemnify the owner in the event your animal causes injury or damage to any third persons or their property. Pet owners who rent Skier's View agree to indemnify Skier's View and its owner in the event any harm is caused by pet.
You will review the instructions in the home regarding use of the
wood-burning stove, the microwave-toaster oven and the hot tub before use.
Only small fires should be lit in the stove. No burning logs should be
removed from stove.
Hot tub use: please shower before use, and use bathing suits rinsed of
soap residue. Please use light-colored towels when exiting hot tub. In the
event you do not follow these guidelines and your use of the hot tub
requires drainage and cleaning of tub, a $50 fee will apply.
Every effort is made to keep Skiers’ View and its equipment in good
working order. Should a malfunction arise during your stay, every effort
will be made to remedy it during your stay. Note, however, that given the
remote location, no repairs can be guaranteed.
The following should be completed prior to check out:
All trash should be bagged and placed in cans
Empty and wipe out the refrigerator and cupboards of all items brought
to home
Load and start the dishwasher
Wash and dry a load of laundry; the driver may be left running
Strip all beds of linens and leave in or near laundry room; please do
not leave linens, towels or any items next to baseboard heaters
Leave furniture and all other household items as originally found
Turn thermostats down to 60 degrees before departing
LEAVE HOT TUB ON
Please perform a final walk through and ensure that all doors and
windows are closed and locked and all lights turned off. A minimum $50 fee
will be deducted from security deposit if the home is not left in
acceptable condition.
12. Note that snow removal from walkways, steps and decks
cannot be guaranteed.
